I think I am very lucky to be blessed with such nice and sweet colleagues.
I gained a lot within this brief 8 months. There were a lot of bitter sweet moments including terrible clients, datelines that can never be met... But then come to think of it... those sweet moments spend with colleagues at work made all those bearable and fun. I don't think I will be able to live through the past 8 months so well if its not because of them. They supported me professionally at work and emotionally (for me to COMPLAIN! :P).
Giving me a great farewell was something I did not expect. Come to think of it, all I did on the last day of work/internships was always pick up my bag and bade the colleagues good bye. No farewell dinners, no presents... This came as a surprised indeed.
Two farewells meals, various well wishes, and thoughtful presents... I am indeed lucky to have colleagues likewise... I swear I promise I'll keep in touch! :) The relationships I made in TNS-RI is definitely one of the most precious things I gained in the last 8 months.

My social life is BACK!! Konon-nya social life as if I had one... but at least, I'm not staying at home 24/7 staring at notes or my laptop anymore!
The past weekend (including one weekday) has been packed with ACTIVITIES!!! Ranging from makan-makan sessions to Karaoke! :)
Friday was our K session in Hong Guan Gabba...First time going K with the SSA gang, and there were many surprises for the night (especially RAY)! 5 hours of K and my voice was a bit coarse by the end of the night... but it was worth it (@___@)" (weird theory aye)

Saturday was a very busy day straight down from lunch till wee early in the morning... first is a farewell cum birthday BBQ with Taiwanese classmates... than it was Kok Yan's birthday at night.
The BBQ was fun and I guess this will be the last time I see most of the Taiwanese classmates again as most of them are going back to Taiwan for good... :( Time flies, and I've known them for a year... These cheerful people has added colours to my life as a Master student :)

Sunday was a relaxing day and dinner with mummy Fisher.... His cooking is as yummy as usual but I miss his famous chicken soup! :p Suddenly, I miss Eric's 麻婆豆腐 and the Park Road get togather we always have half a year ago... And I realised my circle of friends had deviated and changed so much every semesters.... this always happens when friends graduate and leave Australia one by one.... Sometimes I wonder, why am I still here?
Another farewell on a gloomy rainy Monday night... and this is for Velvette in Pancake Manor. Before leaving, she left me another "joke of the day"!! I can't help laughing... but Vel If you are reading this, the answer is NO WAY! hahah we will kill each other I think :p

People come and go all the time, and I have had my fair share of farewells for the past couple of years... Just last weekend, I had two farewells in two days... One for Sin Hui and another one for Ada.
I went for Chicago with Eric before heading off to Sin Hui's farewell in Cloudland. The show was very nice! Much nicer than I anticipated probably because some friends told me that Chicago was nothing spectacular. But I find the show witty yet sarcastic and the dance moves superb...
Went over to Sin Hui's house before heading over to Cloundland (supposedly the most expensively decorated "club" in Brisbane) for our
3.5 hours lineup just to go into the FREAKING lounge bar! We dress up,to line up... WTF! Of course we HAVE to take some photos while waiting... But anyway, even after the 3.5 hours wait... We had to beg, plea, raise our voices and even trick just to get into the bloody lounge bar!!!!! WTFFFF..... I would have bloody left the place if it wasn't for Sin Hui...

Lucky for us, the 3.5 hours wait was not wasted cause eventually all of us managed to get in. Cloundland was huge, and the decoration was really very nice, very different compared to the other clubs around Brisbane... Though"privileged" to be able to enter one of the hardest to enter clubs in Brisbane, my super tulan mood lingered around for quite awhile.
The second farewell of the weekend was for Ada - Mei Tien's super hilarious and funny photography enthusiat flatmate. The Park Road Girls (Teeya, Mei Tien, Amelia, Ada, Christine and me) and guy (Ben) decided to walk over to Ribbits for a cozy OZ liked dinner... Small table for 6 but fitting 7 of us, yea it was indeed very cozy...

We had a go with Ada's 16 shot camera function as well, and ended up with ugly, unglam photos like this...

But it was very fun... Though I've just know Ada for a couple of months, I will definitely miss her a lot as I feel very comfortable being around her and chatting with her... I will also miss Sin Hui heaps... We went Taylor's together, came to Brisbane together, and now she's leaving for Melbourne for good. Babe, take care, I'll try to visit you in Melbourne!
I think this is a sign of growing up... Maybe someday soon, it will be my friends in Brisbane bidding me goodbye....
