It's just 年初三and I am still on time to wish everyone for ang pow's! This is my first Chinese New Year away from home, and what did I do?
The morning of 年三十 was spend on cleaning the house! From the room to the kitchen to the toilet! It is really so hard to believe that the house is so darn clean and tidy now. Phew... spring cleaning IS hard work. No wonder mummy hates CNY spring cleaning every year.
Following spring cleaning was 团年饭 with Uncle Sam and Aunt Lai Kuen in the city. Many of their friends and family attended the dinner and there was Lion Dance to boost up the CNY mood! Not to forget another CNY must - gambling session! Chris was the winner in the gambling session at Joyce's, that lucky guy managed to get everyone's "contribution" for Qian's V-day present!
Since there was nothing to do on 年初二, we decided to go temple to 拜拜! Lighted a candle for luck, health and prosperity for the family, and I got a 好签 indicating that every thing will sail smoothly after hardships, and I only have myself to answer to! Not too bad aye. Hope things goes as smoothly as what the 签 says！ :)
As for my CNY look this year... I'm in love with Maxi dress!
