As EVERYONE knows, my daily activity is mainly made out of sitting in front of the computer and going through seek.com in search for a suitable employment in Australia.
One day, out of boredom, excitement or whatever I was thinking at that time, I decided to send a couple of my photos and a short cover letter in response to a casting agency's advertisement on seek.com. God knows I have TOTALLY forgot about that email... and today...
I received a call from the agency to ask me to audition for a role in Underbelly!
Wait a second, are you kidding me? Me audition for a role in Underbelly? Hmm... Ecstatic as I can be, I guess not? I'm not cut out to be an actor! And I think a marketing position to promote the series would probably be a more welcoming opportunity! :p
But receiving a phone call like this probably does good for my confidence? At least the photos attracted "someone"... (@_____@)"
Maybe the call is a ploy or a prank or even some syndicate that goes around telling girls that they got an audition to TV shows. But I don't care. I'm currently in the mood to SS. :p

I happen to stumble upon this while browsing aimlessly online...
I know I'm pretty out dated as this
cibai research project by Microsoft has been around since 2007.
Basically
cibai it is an abstract interpretation-based static analyzer for modular analysis and verification of java classes. However, shouldn't Microsoft come up with a better name than
cibai that? Needless to say MOST people if not EVERYONE from Malaysia, Singapore and maybe Taiwan should know better to not simply use the
cibai word in any normal circumstances unless they are asking for a fight! :p
For those who are still scratching their heads over what
cibai the word really mean, refer to
urbandictionary for an in-depth definition! :)

"The use of the word “Allah” is allowed for non-Muslims in the Federal Territories, Penang, Sabah and Sarawak as the head of state is not a Sultan...
...the other states in the country had Islamic affairs enactments which prohibited the use of the word by non-Muslims"
~thestar.com.my~
Hmm... If that's the case if anyone in Selangor wants to use the "A" word, please step over the border i mean literally walk over to KL to utter that word and step back into the Selangor border again....
Oh and not to mention Christian publication in Malay will need to have two versions, one for Sabah, Sarawak, Penang and the Federal Territories, another one for the other states that prohibit the use of the "A" word? And later on IF the technology improves and a mind reading device do exist, does it mean we can't even think of the "A" word in those "forbidden states"?
Hmm, so should I delete this blog entry when I am back in Selangor to avoid being detained for using the "A" word? WTF!

I always am and still is a sucker for romantic comedies because I find it easy to "consume" without using much of my brain cells.
Ok I'm lazy even when it comes to watching movie. But the point is, romantic comedies with its cheesy and forever repeating plots will always have a beautiful ending whereby
and they live happily ever after everything works perfectly well.
Think again, I guess most people (or rather me) use this as an escapism from the "cruelty" of real life. Using those "happy" plots to make up for the lack of happy "endings" in each phase of our lives, giving us
me momentary SS syndrome to cheer ourselves up. :p
I have been watching a lot of romantic comedies these few days, ranging from those produced in the 2000's to those produced in the 1990's or even the 1980's. One of my favorite had to be My Big Fat Greek Wedding. The characters brings an attractive, warmhearted simplicity to the movie, portraying a close loving family that can overcome any "obstacle". Most important, capturing enough romance with the right amount of "slapstick" throughout the movie, making it fun movie to watch.
Why am I blogging about this? Mostly because I have nothing better to write about? Or maybe because THERE ARE TOO MANY WEDDING PHOTOS FLOODING AROUND ON FACEBOOK THESE FEW DAYS therefore making me feel like watching heartwarming love stories which leads to me blog about it? :P

The last week of 2009 was a pretty hectic week ranging from:
Cooking and baking for Christmas :)
Christmas Eve BBQ near the new ugly Kurilpa Bridge
Christmas Day Lunch at Calvin's and Christmas Reiji with the "boys"! :p
A fun filled day at Wet 'n' Wild even though it was FREAKING raining the whole bloody day!
A very dizzy Avatar 3D experience that made me felt like I just got out from the Avatar machine when I finished the movie!
New Year countdown at again the new ugly Kurilpa Bridge
And that sums up the last week for 2009!
A new header photo for the new year! OK, not really the perfect header. Still searching for the perfect one after the old "hot air balloon" header decided to bail on me. :(
Let's hope for a better, "funner" and more exciting 2010 :)
P.S. I miss my Brizzy babes and the constant G.O.S.S.I.P. sessions we three have :p
