Vincent has always been one of my favorite songs and it always will be I think. Many versions of Vincent had been sang by various singers, yet the acoustic version by Don McLean will always be my classic favorite.... Soft and dreamy...
Vincent was also performed by Josh Groban. His version of Vincent attracted a "heat wave" over that song during the time of release. Slow and powerful is his performance style , and it made the song sounded much sadder than than the Don McLean version... which fits beautifully with the lyrics.

Another version of Vincent emerged last year, and was sung by Joanna Wang - a Taiwanese singer with a soulful voice. Her version was melodically slow, and combined with her soulful voice it actually sounded fabulous! But I don't know why, her version of Vincent reminded me of Audrey Herpburn singing "Moon River" in Breakfast at Tiffany's!
